Invalidity Search on US 10,903,734 B1

This report presents the results of a worldwide prior art search on the U.S. patent titled “DELIVERING POWER TO SEMICONDUCTOR LOADS,” originally and currently assigned to VICOR CORPORATION. The patent is asserted in USITC Investigation No. 337-TA-1526 (Vicor Corporation v. Foxconn / Delta / Quanta / Luxshare et al.), instituted October 9, 2026, in which a limited exclusion order is sought against vertical power delivery (VPD) systems. The search covered every asserted claim. It included US, EP, CN, JP, KR and PCT (WO) patent documents and non-patent literature. The subject patent claims a vertical power delivery structure built from three parts: a power conversion module whose conversion circuitry is arranged as a plurality of conversion cells, each cell having converter output terminals in a first pattern; an interconnection module whose x-input terminals match that first pattern, and whose x-output terminals match the power input terminals of the semiconductor die in a second pattern of different spacing; and the two modules stacked as a three-layer module sandwich that provides electrical and mechanical translation between the two patterns. The other asserted independent claims add: x-output terminals within the die footprint (claims 2 and 49); conductive pillars and alternating-polarity x-output terminals (claim 45); a capacitive array between the converter and the die (claim 53); a point-of-load stack within the die footprint, with interdigitated output terminals, a capacitive array, an input voltage at least five times the die voltage, and vertical conductors (claims 67 and 68). The critical date is April 5, 2016, the filing date of U.S. App. No. 15/091,346, the earliest application in the continuation-in-part chain. Every adopted reference was published years before the critical date and qualifies as prior art under 35 U.S.C. §102(a)(1). The two Certificates of Correction (2021 and 2024) were applied when reading the claims. Publication dates were checked against first-source records (WIPS Global, USPTO). Adopted References Six references were adopted: US Reference (D1), US Reference (D2), US Reference (D3), US Reference (D4), US Reference (D5) and US Reference (D6). None of them was cited during the prosecution of this patent, and none appears among the documents cited on the face of the patent. The commonly owned Vicor applications are excluded under §102(b)(2)(C). The specific identity of each reference is disclosed to the buyer upon purchase.

Invalidity Search Report on US 12,769,363 B2 — Wearable Computing Device

Invalidity Search Report on US 12,769,363 B2 — Wearable Computing Device Claims of Interest: 1, 10 and 17 (all of the patent's independent claims) KEY FINDINGS: - No single-reference (X) anticipation was found. All three Claims of Interest are unpatentable as obvious (Y) over a combination of four references, each rating resting on express text quoted verbatim in the Claim Charts. - The primary reference is a pre-critical-date CN ring-shaped pulse oximeter: a finger ring whose clips carry a two-wavelength (red and infrared) emitter and a photodetector pressed against the finger, with the power source and microprocessor inside the ring body. - Secondary references supply: a wearable sensor platform combining an accelerometer, a skin-temperature sensor and a pulse oximeter with a battery charging module; inductive-charging hardware with receiver magnets that pull the device into alignment with the charger, a charging regulator, and receiver electronics on a flexible printed circuit board formed to a curved battery pack; and a curved secondary battery shaped to the housing of the device it powers, expressly including wearable computers. - The references relied on are NOT cited on the face of the patent — confirmed against the patent's complete citation list (847 backward citations) — so the combination carries no 35 U.S.C. 325(d) baggage from the prosecution or from the PGR/IPR/ITC proceedings on this family. - Critical Date: November 29, 2013. Two references are relied on under AIA 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(2) as of their effective filing dates; the report analyses the date status of every reference. INCLUDES: - Element-by-element Claim Charts for Claims 1, 10 and 17 with verbatim quotations and exact locations (paragraph / page-line / column-line), with English translations alongside the Chinese-language quotations - Relevancy analysis for every Claim of Interest - Full search documentation: multilingual keyword sets (EN/KO/JA/CN) and every executed search formula, including a supplemental WIPS Global Field Search (two date passes) and AI Search targeting the claimed numeric dimensions, the battery/board layout of the ring, and the charging magnets

Invalidity Search Report on US 10,903,734 B1 — Delivering Power to Semiconductor Loads

Prior art search report (invalidity) on US 10,903,734 B1, "Delivering Power to Semiconductor Loads" — the patent asserted in ITC Investigation No. 337-TA-1526. The report maps the killer prior art for all 54 asserted claims (claims 1-8, 11-14, 18-26, 40-56, 65-71, 80, 81, 83, 84, 90-93, 95) against the critical date of December 12, 2018. KEY FINDINGS: • No single-reference (X) case: every independent claim is covered by a combination of two to three references, quoted element by element • 49 of the 54 claims are covered by obviousness combinations (Y) built from six references — five US publications and one EP publication • The core combination pairs a voltage-regulator / interposer attach reference with a thru-substrate interposer "space transformer" reference that changes terminal pitch and staggers power and ground terminals with alternating polarities • The converter-side alternating-polarity limitation (claims 22, 25, 47) is supported by an EP reference that expressly arranges positive and negative power output terminals in alternating fashion • Five claims (6, 7, 42, 50, 51) could not be matched: terminal spacing as a function of conversion-cell dimensions and wafer-level (un-singulated die) delivery were not found in any reference despite a targeted supplemental search in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese — the report says so openly INCLUDES: • Element-by-element claim charts for all 54 claims with verbatim quotations and exact column / paragraph locations • Relevancy table rating every claim against every cited reference • Full search record: keyword groups in four languages and every executed search formula, including the supplemental WIPS Global proximity and AI searches • A candid "limits of this report" section identifying the weakest grounds (claims 80, 81 and 66)

Invalidity Search Report — US 9,261,983 B2 (Fingertip Mouse and Base; Finger-Worn Wireless Motion Mouse with On-Housing Display)

This Invalidity Search Report covers a US patent for a "Fingertip Mouse" — a finger-worn wireless motion-tracking input device whose housing holds all of its electronics, including an accelerometer-based motion tracking mechanism, wireless communication components and an on-housing display (critical date: November 5, 2004). Six prior-art references were charted claim by claim with verbatim quotations and exact locations (column/line and paragraph numbers), every passage verified against the actual patent texts: A finger-worn ring pointer with inertial sensors: every operating component (sensors, controller, radio transmitter, antenna, battery) mounted in the ring shell; a radio link to the host computer; two accelerometers for motion detection. A hand-held input device combining, in one battery-powered body, an acceleration sensor, an LCD display unit, an LED and a Bluetooth module communicating with the computer's Bluetooth module. A finger ring remote control carrying display units (light-emitting elements) on the outer peripheral surface of the ring, with an inner-diameter finger-contact surface, a processor, memory, a secondary battery and a wireless transmitter. A wearable ring user interface with a battery recharged by inductive coupling at a charging station. A finger-worn input device whose acceleration sensor senses finger movement and is used as a "click" information input. A published finger-mounted gesture input device (NPL) with information-presentation LEDs on the index finger, used to scroll a host window by small finger movements. Search method: 17 documented WIPS Global field-search formulas (English with truncation and adjacency operators plus Korean, Japanese and Chinese synonym variants, with per-country hit counts), followed by full-text verification of all top candidates. The narrowest formula returned exactly one hit — the ring-pointer reference itself — and no single pre-critical-date reference was found that combines a finger-worn housing, an accelerometer, wireless communication and an on-housing display.

This report presents the results of a worldwide prior art search on the U.S. patent titled "HYBRID RC/CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR," originally assigned to Microchip Technology Incorporated. Crestone IP Management, LLC is listed as the current assignee. The search covered every claim of the subject patent. Patent documents from US, EP, CN, JP, KR and PCT were searched on WIPS Global, and non-patent literature was reviewed separately. Its purpose is to identify prior art that may affect the novelty and/or inventive step of the claimed invention. The subject patent covers an oscillator in which an internal tunable oscillator, such as an on-chip RC oscillator, drives an external crystal through a device pin. A phase detector compares the tunable oscillator's output with the crystal's response returned to the oscillator input. A controller keeps correcting the tunable oscillator's frequency from that comparison for as long as the oscillator runs. The crystal therefore serves as a phase reference rather than as the clock source itself. Dependent claims add: pin arrangements: a separate or shared input pin, and a current-source drive with voltage sensing lock-status reporting holdover when the crystal signal fails or lock is lost a frequency multiplier in the drive path The critical date is April 20, 2016, the filing date of the U.S. provisional application to which the parent application claims priority. Every adopted reference predates the critical date by several years. This report presents the results of a worldwide prior art search on the U.S. patent titled "AUGMENTED REALITY AND LOCATION DETERMINATION METHODS AND APPARATUS," assigned to Gravity Jack, Inc. The search covered every claim of the subject patent. Patent documents from US, EP, CN, JP, KR and PCT were searched on WIPS Global, and non-patent literature was reviewed separately. Its purpose is to identify prior art that may affect the novelty and/or inventive step of the claimed invention. The subject patent covers refining the location of a user device. A coarse "first" location, typically a GPS fix, is used to identify nearby wireless devices. The device then starts wireless exchanges with those devices. Timing or other information from the exchanges produces a more accurate "second" location. A managed variant is also claimed. The device reports its initial location to an external management device and receives a control signal in return. It then emits a signal at a first moment, and several other devices receive it at second moments. The refined location is calculated from those moments. Only independent claim 1 recites augmented reality. The critical date is July 30, 2010, the U.S. filing date (no earlier priority). Every adopted reference was published before the critical date, and publication dates were checked on the front page of each document. Every adopted and additional reference was compared against the References Cited on the face of the subject patent and against the applicant's own patent family. All of them are NOT OF RECORD. This report gives the results of a worldwide prior art search on the U.S. patent titled "DYNAMIC RENDERING DEVICE METADATA-INFORMED AUDIO ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM." The patent is currently assigned to BOOMCLOUD 360, INC. The search covered every claim and included patent documents from the US, EP, CN, JP, KR and PCT, as well as non-patent literature. Its purpose is to find prior art that may affect the novelty and/or inventive step of the claimed invention. The subject patent describes a device that enhances audio on its own, in four steps: It asks its operating system for information about the audio rendering system. It receives data describing the communication path of the audio signal (for example headphone jack, built-in speakers, Bluetooth, USB or HDMI), together with metadata identifying the application consuming the audio. It uses that path data to query a database. It applies the audio enhancement mapped to that path in the database and provides the result to the rendering system. Dependent claims add further rendering-system information (device identifier, orientation, codec, manufacturer, device class, model). They also add specific enhancement types: mid/side subband filtering, crosstalk processing and speaker-asymmetry correction. The critical date is November 15, 2019, the filing date of U.S. Provisional App. No. 62/936,327. Every adopted reference was published before the critical date. Publication dates were checked against first-source records (USPTO, EPO, JPO, KIPO and Google Patents). Every reference cited on the face of the subject patent or appearing in its prosecution record was excluded from consideration. All references in this report are NOT OF RECORD. This report presents the results of a worldwide prior art search on the U.S. patent titled "SPECTRAL DEFECT COMPENSATION FOR CROSSTALK PROCESSING OF SPATIAL AUDIO SIGNALS," currently assigned to BOOMCLOUD 360, INC. The search covered every claim of the subject patent. It included patent documents from US, EP, CN, JP, KR and PCT, as well as non-patent literature. Its purpose is to identify prior art that may affect the novelty and/or inventive step of the claimed invention. The subject patent covers a spatial-audio enhancement method, system and computer-readable medium. Crosstalk processing (crosstalk cancellation for loudspeakers or crosstalk simulation for headphones) is applied to a stereo signal, and this introduces spectral defects. To compensate: a mid (L+R, nonspatial) component is generated from the left and right channels, filters are applied to that mid component to compensate for the spectral defects caused by the crosstalk processing, and the resulting mid compensation channel is used to generate the left and right output channels. Dependent claims add subband spatial processing (gain adjustment of mid and side subbands) and specify the order of the crosstalk and compensation stages. The critical date is June 20, 2018, the filing date of parent application No. 16/013,804 (now US 10,575,116 B2). Every adopted reference was published more than seven years before the critical date. This report provides the results of a comprehensive worldwide prior art search relating to the U.S. patent titled "CROSSTALK CANCELLATION B-CHAIN," U.S. Patent No. 10,524,078 B2, assigned to BOOMCLOUD 360, INC. The search was conducted to identify prior art references relevant to all claims (Claims 1–23) of the subject patent, including patent documents and publicly available technical disclosures worldwide (US/EP/CN/JP/KR/PCT). The subject patent is directed to an audio system that first generates a spatially enhanced signal by gain-adjusting the spatial (side) and nonspatial (mid) components of a stereo input. A downstream "b-chain" processor then determines the asymmetries between the left and right speakers in frequency response, time alignment and signal level for a listening position. It corrects them by applying an N-band equalization, a delay and a gain to the spatially enhanced signal. Dependent claims add single-channel delay/gain, adjustment upon a change in the listening position, and crosstalk compensation combined with crosstalk cancellation. The Critical Date was fixed at November 29, 2017 (earliest effective filing date = U.S. Provisional Application No. 62/592,304). Only references publicly available before this date were treated as eligible prior art. Every reference of record in the subject patent was excluded, together with the applicant's own earlier patent families and the subject patent's foreign family. This report provides the results of a comprehensive worldwide prior art search relating to U.S. Patent No. 7,599,231 B2, titled "ADAPTIVE REGULATOR FOR IDLE STATE IN A CHARGE PUMP CIRCUIT OF A MEMORY DEVICE," originally assigned to Atmel Corporation (current assignee: Crestone IP Management, LLC). The search was conducted to identify prior art references relevant to all claims (1-19) of the subject patent, including patent documents and publicly available technical disclosures worldwide. The purpose of this search is to locate potentially relevant prior art that may impact the novelty and/or inventive step of the claimed invention, which is directed to an adaptive voltage generator that holds a memory read/modify line at a predetermined "idle" voltage substantially equal to the read voltage before and while switching between read and modify (program/erase) operations — thereby suppressing charge-sharing and supply-line switching disturbances during read-while-write — and then ramps the modify line to the high program voltage and discharges it before switching back. The search covered U.S., European, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and PCT patent literature together with IEEE/academic non-patent literature, using classification codes (G11C16/30, G11C16/12, G11C16/06, G11C16/08, G11C5/145) and multilingual keyword matrices. All references admitted in the subject patent's Background and all references cited during prosecution were excluded under a §325(d)-conscious strategy. The Critical Date was fixed at October 11, 2006 (U.S. filing date; no earlier priority claimed), and the public-availability/priority date of every candidate was independently verified against first-source records. One highly on-point candidate (a Korean-priority document disclosing use of the word-line read voltage as an initial voltage before program ramp-up) was verified to post-date the Critical Date by one day and was accordingly excluded as ineligible. Four Most Relevant References (D1-D4) and four Additional References were identified. No single reference discloses every element of any independent claim; accordingly, no claim is anticipated (Category X). The invalidity theory is therefore based on obviousness (Category Y), supported by verbatim, precisely-located disclosures mapped element-by-element in the claim charts. Claims that could not be tied to an explicit prior-art disclosure are transparently marked Category A. The report (approx. 17 pages) includes: full subject-patent bibliographic and search-strategy information; a Most Relevant / Additional References table with X/Y/A categorization; a full Claim 1-19 Relevancy Matrix; detailed claim charts for all three independent claims (1, 6, 12) and every dependent claim, each quoting the prior-art text at its exact location (claim number, figure, section/paragraph); and a complete search-history appendix (multilingual keyword sets, Boolean/proximity queries, and databases).

The subject patent is directed to controlling access at a gated facility using a plurality of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon modules that receive advertisement packets carrying a handset/user identifier, time-average the per-beacon received signal strength indication (RSSI), report the identifier and RSSI to a server, and have the server select — among several handsets queued at different distances — the one most likely to occupy the expected location at the gate, authenticate only that handset, and open the gate. The purpose of this search is to locate potentially relevant prior art that may impact the novelty and/or inventive step of the claimed invention, with particular attention to references not considered during prosecution. All references adopted below are non-examiner-cited and fall outside the subject patent's file history.

Invalidity Search Report for US8423235B2

This report provides the results of a comprehensive worldwide prior art search relating to the U.S. patent titled "VIDEO RECORDING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND DRIVING INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD THEREOF" (US 8,423,235 B2), assigned to Mtekvision Co., Ltd. The search was conducted to identify prior art references relevant to all claims of the subject patent (claims 1–17), including patent documents and publicly available technical disclosures worldwide. The critical date for this analysis is September 14, 2009 (the Korean priority date), and only references publicly available before that date were adopted. To preserve the report's value for an inter partes review petition, every reference appearing on the face of the subject patent and its background — as well as the examiner-cited Rayner family — was deliberately excluded, so that all adopted art is non-redundant under 35 U.S.C. § 325(d). The subject patent's alleged point of novelty is a camera-equipped vehicle recorder that generates two different sets of driving information depending on whether the vehicle is in use or in nonuse, the minimal nonuse set being produced by periodically waking the device on an auxiliary power supply and used to verify that the recorder has not been disabled. The report adopts five verified killer references (D1–D5) and four corroborating additional references, with full element-by-element claim charts and a claims-by-references relevancy matrix. No single reference anticipates the independent claims, so the grounds are presented as obviousness grounds under § 103.

Killer Prior Art - Patent Invalidity Search Report: US 9,031,259 B2 - All Claims 1-20

This report presents the results of a worldwide invalidity search directed to all 20 claims of US 9,031,259 B2 (Current assignee: SOUNDCLEAR TECHNOLOGIES LLC, Critical Date: September 15, 2011). The alleged point of novelty was construed as the ordered combination of (i) a speech-segment determination on the sound picked up by either microphone, (ii) a voice-direction detection from the inter-microphone phase difference or magnitude difference performed on receipt of that speech-segment information, and (iii) an adaptive filter operating on both pick-up signals under joint control of the speech-segment and direction information. The search covered US, EP, WO, JP, CN, and KR patent literature together with IEEE, Elsevier and conference non-patent literature, using nine CPC/IPC classes (G10L21/0216, G10L2021/02161, G10L2021/02165, G10L2021/02166, G10L25/78, G10L25/84, H04R3/005, H04R1/40, G01S3/86), a ten-group multilingual keyword matrix in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese, and twelve boolean and proximity queries. Original-language text was read for every Japanese, Chinese and Korean hit retained; machine translation was used for screening only. Four Most Relevant References (one category X, three category Y) and three Additional References were selected. Public-availability before the Critical Date was verified for each against first-source bibliographic records. Every document appearing in the subject patent's specification or on its References Cited page — sixteen references in total — was excluded from both lists, verified line by line against the issued patent. None of the four Most Relevant References was before the Examiner, so each supports an unpatentability ground that is not cumulative of the prosecution record for the purposes of 35 U.S.C. §325(d). Contents: subject patent analysis and search strategy · reference tables with X/Y/A categories · claim-by-claim relevancy matrix · five element-by-element claim charts with pinpoint citations to claim number, figure and reference numeral, and displayed equation number · detailed comparative analysis for each independent and dependent claim group · full search-information appendix (databases, keyword matrix, query set, exclusion list).
