Invalidity Search on US 10,903,734 B1

This report presents the results of a worldwide prior art search on the U.S. patent titled “DELIVERING POWER TO SEMICONDUCTOR LOADS,” originally and currently assigned to VICOR CORPORATION. The patent is asserted in USITC Investigation No. 337-TA-1526 (Vicor Corporation v. Foxconn / Delta / Quanta / Luxshare et al.), instituted October 9, 2026, in which a limited exclusion order is sought against vertical power delivery (VPD) systems. The search covered every asserted claim. It included US, EP, CN, JP, KR and PCT (WO) patent documents and non-patent literature. The subject patent claims a vertical power delivery structure built from three parts: a power conversion module whose conversion circuitry is arranged as a plurality of conversion cells, each cell having converter output terminals in a first pattern; an interconnection module whose x-input terminals match that first pattern, and whose x-output terminals match the power input terminals of the semiconductor die in a second pattern of different spacing; and the two modules stacked as a three-layer module sandwich that provides electrical and mechanical translation between the two patterns. The other asserted independent claims add: x-output terminals within the die footprint (claims 2 and 49); conductive pillars and alternating-polarity x-output terminals (claim 45); a capacitive array between the converter and the die (claim 53); a point-of-load stack within the die footprint, with interdigitated output terminals, a capacitive array, an input voltage at least five times the die voltage, and vertical conductors (claims 67 and 68). The critical date is April 5, 2016, the filing date of U.S. App. No. 15/091,346, the earliest application in the continuation-in-part chain. Every adopted reference was published years before the critical date and qualifies as prior art under 35 U.S.C. §102(a)(1). The two Certificates of Correction (2021 and 2024) were applied when reading the claims. Publication dates were checked against first-source records (WIPS Global, USPTO). Adopted References Six references were adopted: US Reference (D1), US Reference (D2), US Reference (D3), US Reference (D4), US Reference (D5) and US Reference (D6). None of them was cited during the prosecution of this patent, and none appears among the documents cited on the face of the patent. The commonly owned Vicor applications are excluded under §102(b)(2)(C). The specific identity of each reference is disclosed to the buyer upon purchase.

Invalidity Search Report on US 12,769,363 B2 — Wearable Computing Device

Invalidity Search Report on US 12,769,363 B2 — Wearable Computing Device Claims of Interest: 1, 10 and 17 (all of the patent's independent claims) KEY FINDINGS: - No single-reference (X) anticipation was found. All three Claims of Interest are unpatentable as obvious (Y) over a combination of four references, each rating resting on express text quoted verbatim in the Claim Charts. - The primary reference is a pre-critical-date CN ring-shaped pulse oximeter: a finger ring whose clips carry a two-wavelength (red and infrared) emitter and a photodetector pressed against the finger, with the power source and microprocessor inside the ring body. - Secondary references supply: a wearable sensor platform combining an accelerometer, a skin-temperature sensor and a pulse oximeter with a battery charging module; inductive-charging hardware with receiver magnets that pull the device into alignment with the charger, a charging regulator, and receiver electronics on a flexible printed circuit board formed to a curved battery pack; and a curved secondary battery shaped to the housing of the device it powers, expressly including wearable computers. - The references relied on are NOT cited on the face of the patent — confirmed against the patent's complete citation list (847 backward citations) — so the combination carries no 35 U.S.C. 325(d) baggage from the prosecution or from the PGR/IPR/ITC proceedings on this family. - Critical Date: November 29, 2013. Two references are relied on under AIA 35 U.S.C. 102(a)(2) as of their effective filing dates; the report analyses the date status of every reference. INCLUDES: - Element-by-element Claim Charts for Claims 1, 10 and 17 with verbatim quotations and exact locations (paragraph / page-line / column-line), with English translations alongside the Chinese-language quotations - Relevancy analysis for every Claim of Interest - Full search documentation: multilingual keyword sets (EN/KO/JA/CN) and every executed search formula, including a supplemental WIPS Global Field Search (two date passes) and AI Search targeting the claimed numeric dimensions, the battery/board layout of the ring, and the charging magnets

Invalidity Search Report on US 9,704,186 B1 — Aggregator Application App for a Mobile Electronic Device

Invalidity Search Report on US 9,704,186 B1, "Aggregator Application App for a Mobile Electronic Device" — the patent asserted in AutoFX2 Technologies v. State Farm et al. (E.D. Tex.). Claims of Interest: independent claims 1 (device) and 8 (method), the patent's only independent claims. Critical Date: April 9, 2012 (pre-AIA). KEY FINDINGS: • No single reference anticipates claims 1 or 8, but a combination of four United States references covers every element of both claims — both claims are rated Y (obvious) over the combination • The lead reference (a US insurer's mobile insurance platform, filed February 2012, prior art under pre-AIA 35 U.S.C. § 102(e)) geo-tags damage photographs with the time of day, date and geographic location, retrieves insured-item information from remote servers, and has the insurer validate transmitted data before issuing a quote or deciding payment • A second insurer reference expressly teaches claim data that can be time stamped, geocoded and verified as coming from the scene of the event and used by the insurer to authenticate and process claims, including a fraud check comparing the device location with the alleged incident location • The remaining references supply GPS coordinates and a timestamp stored with each captured image in mobile accident-claims initiation (§ 102(e) art), and server-side retrieval of vehicle information and condition from a VIN feeding a lender's financing decision • Every quoted passage was verified verbatim against the original patent full texts, and every reference cited on the face of the patent or its continuations was excluded from the analysis INCLUDES: • Element-by-element Claim Charts for claims 1 and 8 with verbatim quotations and exact paragraph/column locations • Relevancy Analysis for both claims • Complete search documentation: keyword groups in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese; proximity-operator search formulas with per-country hit counts; a § 102(e) filing-date screening pass; and an AI search cross-check • A candid statement of the combination's limits, including the patentee's possible antedating argument against the lead reference

Invalidity Search Report on US 10,903,734 B1 — Delivering Power to Semiconductor Loads

Prior art search report (invalidity) on US 10,903,734 B1, "Delivering Power to Semiconductor Loads" — the patent asserted in ITC Investigation No. 337-TA-1526. The report maps the killer prior art for all 54 asserted claims (claims 1-8, 11-14, 18-26, 40-56, 65-71, 80, 81, 83, 84, 90-93, 95) against the critical date of December 12, 2018. KEY FINDINGS: • No single-reference (X) case: every independent claim is covered by a combination of two to three references, quoted element by element • 49 of the 54 claims are covered by obviousness combinations (Y) built from six references — five US publications and one EP publication • The core combination pairs a voltage-regulator / interposer attach reference with a thru-substrate interposer "space transformer" reference that changes terminal pitch and staggers power and ground terminals with alternating polarities • The converter-side alternating-polarity limitation (claims 22, 25, 47) is supported by an EP reference that expressly arranges positive and negative power output terminals in alternating fashion • Five claims (6, 7, 42, 50, 51) could not be matched: terminal spacing as a function of conversion-cell dimensions and wafer-level (un-singulated die) delivery were not found in any reference despite a targeted supplemental search in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese — the report says so openly INCLUDES: • Element-by-element claim charts for all 54 claims with verbatim quotations and exact column / paragraph locations • Relevancy table rating every claim against every cited reference • Full search record: keyword groups in four languages and every executed search formula, including the supplemental WIPS Global proximity and AI searches • A candid "limits of this report" section identifying the weakest grounds (claims 80, 81 and 66)

Prior Art Search on US 9,092,075 B2

This report provides a technical assessment of prior art relevant to U.S. Patent No. 9,092,075 B2, entitled “Fingertip Mouse and Base.” The investigation focuses on identifying earlier disclosures that may challenge the inventive contribution of the claimed finger-worn input device. The patented technology concerns a wearable computer input system that tracks finger movement and communicates the resulting information wirelessly to a separate computing device. Its principal claim combines a finger-receiving housing, internal electronic components, wireless communication circuitry, accelerometer-based motion detection, a user-activated selection mechanism, and a display mounted on the housing. The dependent claims extend this configuration to include host-side display control, thumb-operated input, an additional accelerometer for selection, electrical charging through a base, a finger-enclosing housing, supplementary display functions, device-status indications, incoming wireless communications, and scrolling through available functions. The report uses November 5, 2004 as the critical date and applies the pre-AIA statutory framework as identified in the underlying investigation. The search examined patent publications from the United States, Europe, Japan, Korea, China, and the PCT system, alongside screening of relevant non-patent technical literature. Candidate references were also checked against the subject patent's cited documents and related patent family. The analysis concentrates on the combination of features that distinguishes the claimed device: motion sensing within a finger-worn structure, wireless interaction with a host computer, on-device visual output, and user-operated selection functionality.

Prior Art Search Report on US 2023/0378460 A1 — Cathode for Lithium Secondary Battery

US 2023/0378460 A1 (SK On) is a pending application claiming a lithium-secondary-battery cathode built on single-particle lithium metal oxide plus a two-step high-then-low calcination, with a novel FIB-based crystal-size parameter (S/N, 1-3 um) and an XRD peak-intensity ratio. This 21-page prior-art search report was prepared BEFORE registration to secure killer prior art in advance — so the buyer is ready the moment the patent grants. KEY FINDINGS: method claims 10-13 are anticipated (X) — a US university publication discloses the hydroxide-plus-lithium-source, 970C/4h-then-780C/10h process step for step, and a third-party Chinese patent published 12 days before the critical date independently anticipates claims 10-12. Product claims 1-9 fall as obvious (Y) over combinations covering the single-crystal/polycrystalline blend, the identical XRD I(110)/(003) ratio formula, and matching half-cell capacity data. The report is candid about its limits: no reference reports the FIB-based S/N metric; the applicant's own XRD-ratio patent sits inside the US grace period (fully citable in EP opposition); the repeated-calcination claims (14-15) rest on a motivation argument. INCLUDES: verified verbatim citations with exact paragraph locations, per-claim X/Y/A ratings, 12-formula WIPS Global search history (EN/KO/JA/CN), and a full additional-references set. BEST USE: file away now; deploy in EP opposition against EP 4280303 A1 or US post-grant review/IPR the moment the patent issues.
